Kaseri von Proikas wird seit über 100 Jahren in Sohos, Thessaloniki, nach unverändertem Familienrezept hergestellt. Ausschließlich aus ausgewählter Schafs- und Ziegenmilch lokaler Rassen, die frei in der Region weiden, entsteht ein Käse ohne Zusätze oder Konservierungsstoffe.

Der reiche, charakteristische Geschmack und der angenehme Nachgeschmack sind das Ergebnis einer monatelangen Reifung und des geringen Feuchtigkeitsgehalts – ein echtes Stück griechischer Käsetradition.
