Tsikoudia Kretaraki with Honey Racomelo (500ml)

Alcohol content: 25%

Tsikoudia Kretaraki with Honey, also known as Rakomelo, originates from the island of Crete and is based on high-quality tsikoudia, a traditional Greek pomace brandy. Made from indigenous grape varieties, it unfolds a multifaceted bouquet with the aroma of ripe grapes.

Refining with Cretan honey, cinnamon, and clove extracts creates a balanced, sweet and aromatic pomace with a long, pleasant finish. Ideal as a digestif or with dried fruits and nuts—also a delight in combination with light mezedes.

Pomace brandies such as tsikoudia have been distilled in the Eastern Mediterranean since the 15th century. Traditionally, the bottoms of the stills are lined with olive branches to enhance the aroma. Serve rakomelo neat at room temperature – a symbol of Greek hospitality and culinary culture.
