Tasting Notes: A powerful Sauvignon Blanc from northern Greece from the top winery Nico Lazaridi. It is aged for six months in French oak barrels using the batonnage method. In the glass, it displays a clear lemon yellow color with golden highlights, reflecting the six months of aging in oak barrels. A complex nose with aromas of green apple, mango, and pear, with herbal notes of basil and freshly cut grass. It has a ripe palate, volume, strong acidity, richness, and a long finish.
Food pairing – Serving temperature: Excellent with seafood, oily fish, smoked salmon, white meat, and poultry with light sauces. Best served at 10-12°C.
